Policies

Packages:

Session packages are non-refundable (but can be reassigned or exchanged for massage at equal value) and you will be notified of the expiration date before purchase. If you find that you need fewer lymphatic drainage sessions than you thought, I am more than happy to give you a MASSAGE treatment instead for the same value of time, limited to 60 or 90 minutes minimum per appointment. For example, you bought a strictly MLD package of ten 60-minute sessions and after the 7th got the results you wanted, you could book 3 more sessions of 1-hour massages or 2 more sessions of 90-minute massages for yourself or a loved one!

Locations & Exclusivity:

We can do sessions in midtown near Columbus Circle or Union Square in a room I rent as needed in fully operational spas. You would be checking in/out with me directly. Please note, if you book me privately you cannot ever book me as an employee of any business (and vice versa); or otherwise become a client of the practice in question where our services are being held—they vow not to poach private clients of therapists and we promise the same. You also agree not to obtain the services of any other LMT at that practice (at any of their locations) no less than 1 year from our last appointment.

Forms of Payment & Insurance:

As of date cash, Paypal, and Venmo. No NFT payments are accepted and no bills over $20 unless paying for a package, in which case state ID must be presented for false currency prevention. I am working to accept credit cards shortly. All services rendered are non-refundable and you agree not to attempt a chargeback for such. We do not currently accept insurance however, I do have a National Provider Identification (NPI) Number given to healthcare providers that could potentially be used for insurance reimbursement. I cannot make any guarantees as to whether my services will be covered and would need a template of the document sent to me. Please allow 48 hours for the form to be completed after treatment.

Availability:

I am currently accepting appointments on Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2-8 pm (ending by 9:30 pm). Tuesdays 2-8 pm, Saturdays 2-6 pm, or Thursdays at 1:30 pm are on a case-by-case basis. Please note: I don’t perform morning appointments under any circumstances. Please be flexible with the timing of your appointment so that I can stack appointments to avoid 2-4 hours between sessions with me just sitting around.

Cancelation Policy:

You will get a confirmation text the day before your session and I need written cancellation by 7 pm that night. See below for cancelation fees.

New clients:

For individual sessions of MLD or mixed, first-time clients need to prepay in full via Venmo one day before the treatment by 7 pm.

If you cancel before 7 pm, you will receive an immediate full refund.

If you cancel later, the full amount will be charged.

Those planning to buy a package should prepay the cost of a single session.

The full package balance should be paid after the session

If package holders share their sessions with another person, the cancellation fee still applies.

Returning Clients:

Returning clients need to prepay just $80 of their session fee, which will be retained for cancellations made after 7 pm on the day before the session.

Returning clients with packages will have their deposit refunded at the start or end of the session unless the cancellation policy is not adhered to.

In such cases, you can choose to have the $80 deposit withheld or refunded, and instead forfeit one session from your current package.

Lateness:

As I am renting the spaces hourly, lateness will impact the amount of time you receive which may or may not have an impact on the results of the session. For example, if you are 13 minutes late but the massage portion of your session is focused on just the calves and neck, or if your 60-minute lymphatic omits say, the arms or face, we would still have enough time to manage your chief complaints! I just wouldn’t be able to extend the time of the session as the space may be needed by the business. That said, it is in your best interest to come EARLY!

Arrival Time:

Please arrive early enough to find parking or to miss a train and still make it with time to spare. You should be early enough to use the restroom, read and sign any forms, and have a brief chat. I should be greeting you 15 minutes before the session starts. Please add more time to your commute if you need to visit an ATM beforehand. Pre-route your commute and remember to take weekend trains schedules and rush-hour traffic into consideration! Don’t forget to communicate any latenesses by text.

Important Tips:

Arrive clean, sweat-free, and scent-free– I promise to do the same! I am asthmatic so please do not smoke within an hour before treatments or wear fragrance or highly-scented hair/skin products or deodorant. I am far more sensitive to smell than the average person. Thank you in advance.

Inappropriate Conduct:

All sessions are therapeutic in nature and you agree to not behave or speak in a way that would suggest otherwise, lest the session be terminated with a non-prorated payment due immediately, and with the expectation that you would be permanently banned from the client roster and reported.
